2nd Annual Golf Tournament to Save Lives Close to Home raises over $30,000!

News

The weather was perfect, the grounds were immaculate, and the golfers were in full force for the Adventist Health Ukiah Valley 2nd Annual Golf Tournament to Save Lives Close to Home. The tournament was held on Friday, June 7 at the beautiful Ukiah Valley Golf Course with a full lineup of teams. All proceeds benefit the purchase of a second magnetic-resonance imaging (MRI) at Adventist Health Ukiah Valley. AHUV’s existing MRI provides over 3,500 studies per year and is fully booked most of the time. This additional MRI will provide the capacity to serve more patients with advanced technology to detect the extent of patients’ diseases for faster diagnosis, treatment and recovery.

“We are especially grateful to the golfers and sponsors that made this event so successful,” said Jason Wells, AHUV President. In addition to Adventist Health Roseville and sister hospitals Howard Memorial, Clear Lake and St. Helena, we were proud to welcome our sponsors Mendocino Humboldt Redwood, Affiliated Pathologists Medical Group, Myriad Women’s Health, Dr. Laura Winkle, Realty World Selzer Realty, Savings Bank of Mendocino, Fowler Auto Center, Schat’s Bakery Café, Ukiah Paper Supply.”

Mark your calendars, next year’s event will be held on June 5, 2020.
