New dental provider finds home in Fowler after Paradise fire
FOWLER – Adventist Health proudly welcomes Mikhai Ta, D.D.S. to the team practicing at Adventist Health Medical Office – Fowler, located at 300 S. Leon S. Peters Blvd. in Fowler.
Dr. Ta and his wife fell in love with the Paradise, Calif. area with the idea of eventually retiring there. He was excited to join the Adventist Health Feather River team, yet less than a month after his family’s move, they lost everything in the Camp Fire. Though a devastating loss, Dr. Ta and his family have found strength in their strong relationship with God.
“God finds a way,” he says.
“Whatever we are going through, God will always be there for us and carry us through the difficult times. We originally chose Paradise to live in, but God had other plans and brought us to Fowler, and we love this area too.”
Bringing more than 15 years of comprehensive experience to his practice, Dr. Ta specializes in general dentistry for the entire family including oral health exams and cleanings; fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures; cosmetic procedures; periodontal care and treatment for gum disease. He is fluent in both English and Vietnamese.
After graduating University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Dr. Ta then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Loma Linda School of Dentistry in Loma Linda, Calif. He is a member of the National Association of Seventh-day Adventist Dentists.
Dr. Ta is passionate about his profession and the role he plays in the long-term health of his patients.
“I love the opportunity to educate my patients on the links to dental health and wellness and helping make a positive impact on not just their oral health but their overall health and well-being,” he says.
Dr. Ta is happily married with two daughters. He enjoys music, including playing the violin, cello and guitar; as well as church activities, hiking, nutrition and spending time with his family.
