Pediatric care expands at Adventist Health Medical Office – Reedley Jefferson with new pediatrician

REEDLEY – The medical staff at Adventist Health Medical Office – Reedley Jefferson is pleased to welcome board-certified pediatrician Pulak Agrawal, MD. In addition to wellness checks and acute care visits, she treats numerous conditions affecting children, including infections, pneumonia, behavioral matters such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and more. She also is part of the Valley Children’s Hospital Network.

After graduating with her medical degree from Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences in Bilaspur, India, Agrawal completed her residency in pediatrics at Southern Illinois University, School of Medicine in Springfield and a fellowship in neonatology at Loma Linda University Medical Center.

Inspired by her interactions with children, Agrawal said, “They are full of hope and have so much potential. It is a privilege to provide relief to children in pain – be it physical, mental or emotional.”

Throughout her education and career, Agrawal has been a frequent volunteer and participant in medical missions and outreach, providing immunizations against polio, collecting samples of drinking water to detect cholera, assisting with eye exams for low-income patients and more.

She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has presented at medical meetings and conferences, as well as published in peer-reviewed journals. She is fluent in English and Hindi.
