Adventist Health Medical Office – Tulare welcomes orthopedic surgeon Mathias Daniels, MD

News

TULARE – Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Mathias Daniels, MD, has joined the medical staff at Adventist Health Medical Office – Tulare. Daniels specializes in spine and orthopedic surgery and his areas of clinical interest include shoulder and knee arthroscopy, hip and knee replacement, degenerative scoliosis and spine and orthopedic trauma.

“I believe surgery should be the last option, however, if non-surgical methods such as rehabilitation, prescription medication management and injections don’t lead to improvement, often a minimally-invasive approach is the best option,” he said. “Typically, this kind of surgery results in less pain, a faster recovery and a return to natural function. My goal is to help my patients achieve an active, pain-free lifestyle.”

Daniels earned his medical degree from State University of New York at Brooklyn. His postdoctoral training includes a residency in orthopedic surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital and Medical Center in New York City followed by a spine and neurologic fellowship at University of Washington/Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and North American Spine Society.

Daniels is accepting new patients and may be reached at Adventist Health Medical Office – Tulare, located at 2059 N. Hillman St., in Tulare. More information and appointments are available by calling 559-605-0090
