New chief experience officer named to transform care delivery, continue focus on exceptional experience

ROSEVILLE, Calif. – Stephanie Abbott, MBA, CLSSBB, has joined Adventist Health as chief experience officer, a newly created position to accelerate the health system’s work toward its 2030 strategy to provide personalized, consumer focused healthcare across the entire care continuum, delivering top-decile performance.

“We are thrilled to welcome Stephanie to our team,” said Jason Wells, chief strategy, consumer and innovation officer. “Adventist Health embarked on a nationwide search for an exceptional leader who could bring vision and proven ability to execute and deliver results. Stephanie is passionate about creating experiences that are worthy of the trust patients have put in us, delivered in an environment that promotes authentic compassion and integrity.”

Abbott will coordinate with Adventist Health clinic and hospital leaders, caregivers and partners to create unrivaled experiences for Adventist Health patients, guests, members and communities.

A certified Lean Six Sigma black belt, Abbott is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has served in executive leadership roles with Intermountain Healthcare and HCA.

She earned an MBA with a specialization in healthcare administration from South University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida.
