Family medicine physician now caring for patients of all ages in Earlimart

EARLIMART – Adventist Health Medical Office – Earlimart is pleased to welcome board-certified family medicine physician Ogochukwu Imo, MD, to its medical staff. In addition to providing wellness checks and preventative care, she treats patients with acute and chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes. She cares for children, adolescents, adults and seniors.

“My goal with each patient is to help them better understand their healthcare options in order to increase their confidence and ability to take as much control of their healthcare situation and needs as possible,” she said.

Dr. Imo earned her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Cupecoy, Saint Maarten. Prior to that she attended the University of California, Berkeley where she received a bachelor’s degree in sociology and post-baccalaureate certificate in biomedical science. She completed her post-doctoral training at Sunrise GME Consortium – Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Imo said when she’s not caring for patients, “I volunteer annually at one of the community clinics in my village in Nigeria by providing free medical services to local villagers.”
