Cyndi Guerra, DNP, RN, MSN, FNP-C Joins Adventist Health’s Fowler Location

June 19, 2023 (Fowler, California) – Adventist Health is pleased to welcome Cyndi Guerra, Doctor of Nurse Practice, Nurse Practitioner to their medical office location in Fowler. Cyndi has been in the medical field for more than two decades. She is a highly-skilled nurse practitioner and is ready to welcome patients while addressing their health concerns. She is looking forward to partnering with Dr. Christopher Orpiano, to provide gastroenterology care for the community.

Cyndi is highly active in the nursing community and is committed to service. She is a member of the California Association of Nurse Practitioners and the National Association of Hispanic Nurses. Cyndi has held leadership positions in both organizations for many years. In 2019, she was recognized by The Hispanic Medical Conference Committee of the Central Valley for “Outstanding and Dedicated Service in Clinical Practice to the Hispanic Community.”

Beginning her nursing education at California State University in Fresno, Cyndi earned both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing. She then continued on to attain her Doctor in Nursing Practice from the University of San Francisco (USF). Dr. Guerra also enjoys the field of academia. She later became an assistant professor in the school of nursing at California State University in Fresno. She was also adjunct facility at USF and Fresno Pacific University. She holds a national certification by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

When not caring for patients, Cyndi enjoys spending time with her family. Her personal hobbies include yoga, biking and food prepping, and she also likes doing crafts such as rock art.
