Addiction Support in Lake County

Adventist Health offers community members with substance use disorder a confidential and safe place to find support and treatment. Our team will be with you every step of the way, as you set your sights on recovery. We are your advocates, your partners in health, your resource and offer a safe place to help you build a better tomorrow. Recovery is possible.

Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT)

The MAT program treats patients with opioid dependencies. If you decide that treatment is right for you, you can start medication immediately. Working with your care team, you may be prescribed Suboxone. This medication blocks the effects of opioid medication, including pain relief or the feeling of well-being that can lead to future use of opioids. There are other medical treatments available. A doctor will work with you and together you can choose the best care plan for your unique needs.

Our team will meet with you as regularly as you would like, helping you understand the process, access resources and supporting your goals. We are available 27/4 at 707-349-4340.

Preventing overdose is an important part of the MAT program. If you or someone you spend time with has a substance use disorder, please contact our substance use navigator at 707-349-4340 to request Narcan training and a free Narcan Overdose Kit. No appointment needed, no questions asked.

Let us support you in recovery from:

  • Alcohol
  • Benzodiazepine
  • Cocaine
  • Methamphetamines
  • Prescription opioids (fentanyl, oxycodone, hydrocodone, codeine, morphine, etc.)

To talk with a substance use navigator, call 707-349-4340. If you are experiencing an emergency please call 911. Our hospital can help you access this program once you are safe and stable, no questions asked.

Stimulant Use Disorder (StUD)

StUD treats patients that use stimulants. Upon entering the program, you will work directly with our care team to develop a plan that will help you meet your goals in recovery. The program offers exercise therapy, with free gym memberships and custom fitness plans, incentives for progress made, individual support meetings, optional group support and medications if needed.
